Step 1:
To get started, first download the XUMM app from the App Store or Google play.

Step 2:
Open the XUMM app and select create a new account.

Step 3:
Read all the important information prompted on the next page. Take special note to never share your private key with someone else. Once you’ve reviewed the information press next.

Step 4:
On a piece of paper or otherwise, use your preferred method to record each row of numbers, A through H, and store the record of your secret numbers in a secure place.

Step 5:
Re-enter your secret numbers exactly as you recorded them, using the plus and minus buttons to enter the rows of numbers, A through H. This will ensure that you’ve recorded your secret numbers correctly.

Step 6:
Once you’ve entered your private key correctly your wallet’s public address will be generated. Click next and be sure to read the activation information prompted on the next screen. Finally, select your preferred security method and choose a name for your account. Creating your XUMM wallet on the XRP Ledger is now complete.

Once you have installed and set up your wallet as we covered in our previous tutorial, you will need to send a minimum 10 XRP to activate the wallet on the XRPL. To send the XRP to this wallet, you’ll need to use any service that allows you to obtain XRP and withdraw it to your account on the XRP Ledger. You can buy XRP directly through XUMM, send XRP from another wallet or send XRP from an exchange. On the XUMM Home Screen, there’s an address displayed for your XRP Ledger account. This is where you can send XRP. And note that a memo is not required for sending XRP to a XUMM wallet account.

For safety reasons, it's important to never send any more xrp than required when activating a wallet. The required activation sum is currently 10 xrp.

Step 1:

Open the XUMM app and copy the public address of the wallet you wish to activate.

Step 2:

Navigate to the account that you’ll be sending the XRP from and paste the public address of the wallet you wish to activate. Remember that you need to send a minimum of 10 XRP to activate the new wallet.

Step 3:

Press send and watch as the XRP is sent, thus activating your new wallet.
And congratulations, activating your XUMM wallet is now complete.

The activation deposit, also known as the account reserve, becomes locked into your account on the XRP Ledger. Later, if you delete the account, most of the 10 XRP deposit will be returned to you. The account opening minimum deposit is held on the XRP Ledger according to the XRP ledger’s internal rules. Your account activation deposit will be locked on the blockchain and will remain locked until you delete your XRP Ledger account on the blockchain. No one earns money on this deposit and exists for the purpose of preventing spam accounts on the ledger. As long as your account is active, you can’t spend or unlock the minimum deposit amount. This tutorial shows you how to set up an EVR trustline with the Xaman wallet on the XRP-Ledger.

Instructions For Buying EVR on the XRP Ledger Dex (Limit Buy):

1. Open the Xaman Wallet.
2. Ensure you have the Evernode trustline set in your wallet on the XRP Ledger.
3. Tap the xApps tab at the bottom of the screen.
4. Select the Dex Trade option.
5. Switch to the EVR to XRP trading pair.
6. Switch the order type to limit.
7. Enter your desired price.
8. Input the quantity of EVR you want to buy.
9. Press "Buy EVR" and sign the transaction.
10. Verify that the order has been placed.
11. Once the order is fulfilled, the EVR tokens will be available in your wallet.

Instructions For Teleporting EVR to Xahau Network:

1. Ensure your Xahau account is activated.
2. Ensure the Evernode trustline is set on the Xahau Network.
3. Launch the EVR teleport xApp.
4. Choose the amount of EVR you want to teleport.
5. Sign the transaction to initiate the teleport.
